On the day of our wedding there wasn’t a dry eye in the place when Marnie read our personalized love story to us for the first time. Marnie was warm and earthy and personable. We received many compliments on what turned out to be a beautiful, personalized ceremony. People wanted to know… where did you find your marriage commissioner?  We feel so lucky that we did find Marnie. Marnie provides more than just a signature on a piece of paper; she cares about the experience of getting married. She met with us ahead of time and walked us through every step of the ceremony asking questions about things that we hadn’t even thought of. We really appreciated how detail oriented she was and how adaptable she was to our changing needs. We just wanted a simple ceremony but she found a way to make it simple and special. Our favourite part was the love story she wrote about us based on a questionnaire she sent to each of us, and our family and friends. It was a nice surprise at the ceremony and it was lovely to hear someone tell the story of how we met and fell in love. You rarely get to hear someone else tell that story. If you are looking for someone who will make your wedding ceremony memorable, we highly recommend Marnie!

Marnie is an amazing celebrant! We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect service. The love story she took time to write for us set the tone for our beautiful wedding. The ring warming ceremony was a special touch for our small group and noted on by many of our guests. Her organization and leadership made for a seamless ceremony.
